Chateauneuf du Faou is a small popular tourist town in the Finistere region of Brittaney in western France.
It is popular with tourists fom all over europe, especially from the UK , Holland , Germany, Ireland as well as from all over France
Chateauneuf du faou has a town centre full of shops and bars as well as all the neccessary amenities such as Boulangeries,Cave/Chocolatier/gifts,Perfumery,Fishing tackle shop(where fishing licences can be obtained) Deli,Florists,Pizzeria,Creperie,6 Restaurants Doctors,Optictions and a chemist as well as three supermarkets and a builders merchants
The river Aulne runs through at the edge of the town and is popular with canoeists boaters and residents of the near by campsite as well as a large number of cyclists who travel along the canal bank
Every year Chateauneuf hosts an international jazz festival,attracting acts from all over the world and a large audience over three days
